CAI RANG FLOATING MARKET
Its just 45 minutes by boat from Can Tho’s promenade, Cai Rang is a frenetic, fast paced wholesale affair, with large barges piled high with produce as their owners call out to the armada of smaller boats weaving their way between them hoping to get a good deal. It is very touristy with almost as many tourist boats as actual vendors but it is busy for a reason; The floating market is a fast dying tradition and people want to see it before its gone forever. If you are a photographer this is an opportunity not to be missed. The market starts at around 5am and is in full swing between 6 and 7am so, it's well worth getting here early to beat the boatloads of tourists and the heat. This is a wholesale market, so look at what's tied to the long pole above the boat to figure out what they're selling to smaller traders.RICE NOODLE HOUSEHu tieu is another rice food that is very familiar to people in Can Tho in particular, and the whole southern region of Vietnam in general. That mean s it is totally possible to consider making rice noodles as a traditional trade. visiting the factories to see with their own eyes how the noodle is made and enjoy a tasty bowl of hu tieu made with the noodle which they have just learned how to make.SMALL CANALAccording to the travel website in 2018 has announced list of top 10 most beautiful canal cities in the world including Can Tho City. Boat tours of the river and canals are the real reason to visit Mekong Delta, and they are the best way to get a glimpse of the delta's village life. The major mouths of Mekong River and the intricate network of canals mean that nowhere is far from the water, and, in all that water, there is a tremendous variety of boats working: most of them still traditionally built wooden boats.
